Merge
Three scanned chapters that belong in one PDF. A stack of receipts that should go to accounting as a single file. Merging takes several files and gives you back one, and with Filestar it is one click once the files are in.

Merge files in three steps
- Add the files you want to combine: drop them on Filestar together, or click + to add more. Each one gets a chip at the top.
- Pick Merge. For PDFs it is one of the suggestions under the search box; otherwise type
merge. - Click Merge. You get one file,
Merged.pdf, with the files in the order of the chips.
The result page shows every input next to the single output, so you can check nothing was left out.
Get the order right
The files are merged in the order they were added. To change it, remove a chip with × and add the file again at the end. Naming files Part1, Part2, Part3 and dropping them together keeps them in order.
More than PDFs
Merge works across many kinds of file: PDF documents, images (merge JPGs, merge PNGs), and more. Drop your files and the suggestions show what Filestar can do with exactly those.
Go further
- Merge, then compress the result before you send it: add a second step with Add Step. See Recipes.
- Name the merged file with a path template: Bulk Renaming.
