  2. Right click on one or more Tap file(s) on your desktop and select Convert with Filestar.

  3. Type convert to sixel in the search box.

  4. Press Convert.

Description
An embroidery file type TAP is a file format used by home embroidery machines to store information about the design that is to be stitched. The file contains all the data and instructions necessary for the machine to create the design. It includes information about the type and color of threads to be used, the size of the design, and the exact locations of the different elements of the design.
Created by Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), SIXEL is a bitmap image format in an escaped sequence (seen as six pixels high and one pixel wide). You have to convert it into a more accessible format if you don’t have a DEC terminal to view it.
