The PHC (Home Embroidery Format) is a proprietary file format used for storing embroidery designs. It is used by many different types of home embroidery machines, including Brother and Janome. The format stores information about the design, such as stitch type, thread color and the coordinates of the stitches. It can also contain text and images.
A TGA file is a file saved in the raster graphic format designed by Truevision. It supports 8, 16, 24, or 32 bits per pixel at a maximum of 24 bits for RGB colors and and 8-bit alpha channel. TGA files are often used to store texture files referenced by 3D video games.
