- Description
- emd files are digitized embroidery files created by Elna Xquisit software. These files contain machine-readable instructions for an embroidery machine to stitch out a design. They are used to create unique patterns and decorations on fabric.
- An EXP file is an embroidery CAM (computer aided manufacturing) file saved in the Melco EXP format. It contains codes that tell the needle of a commercial sewing machine how to create an embroidery. EXP files may also be saved in the Bernina USB EXP format, which is used for embroideries made by personal sewing machines.
