Description
emd files are digitized embroidery files created by Elna Xquisit software. These files contain machine-readable instructions for an embroidery machine to stitch out a design. They are used to create unique patterns and decorations on fabric.
An EXP file is an embroidery CAM (computer aided manufacturing) file saved in the Melco EXP format. It contains codes that tell the needle of a commercial sewing machine how to create an embroidery. EXP files may also be saved in the Bernina USB EXP format, which is used for embroideries made by personal sewing machines.
