Description
A text outline format used by industrial sewing machines. Each line holds nine integers: a flag (0 = line, 1 = arc, -1 = end record), a start point, an end point and, for arcs, a centre point and a rotation direction, with coordinates in hundredths of a millimetre and every record terminated by LF CR.
An EXP file is an embroidery CAM (computer aided manufacturing) file saved in the Melco EXP format. It contains codes that tell the needle of a commercial sewing machine how to create an embroidery. EXP files may also be saved in the Bernina USB EXP format, which is used for embroideries made by personal sewing machines.
