Description
BRO (Embroidery File) is a file format used for storing embroidery designs. It is commonly used for creating and sharing embroidery designs for machines such as Brother and Janome. It contains stitch data, thread colors, and other information needed for creating an embroidery design.
An EXP file is an embroidery CAM (computer aided manufacturing) file saved in the Melco EXP format. It contains codes that tell the needle of a commercial sewing machine how to create an embroidery. EXP files may also be saved in the Bernina USB EXP format, which is used for embroideries made by personal sewing machines.
