Let your AI agent convert WPG to WMZ
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents can do this on your computer with Filestar. Your files stay on your machine.
Install Filestar and add it to your agents:
npm install -g filestar
filestarcli agent install
Then ask your agent:
“Convert the WPG files in my Downloads folder to WMZ”
Or run it yourself:
filestarcli -i photo.wpg -c "convert to wmz"
Runs on your computer, so your files stay on it. Works on Windows, macOS and Linux. 50 free conversions with the npm install, no account needed.
Can my AI agent convert WPG to WMZ?
Yes. Install the Filestar CLI with npm install -g filestar and your agent can run filestarcli -i photo.wpg -c "convert to wmz" on your computer, so your files stay on it.
This format was created in the WordPerfect word processor, which is supported by different operating systems. WPG may contain raster and vector graphics, including Encapsulated PostScript. It used for clip art files, which are often inserted into text documents.
A WMZ file is a Windows Metafile (.WMF) compressed with GZIP. Microsoft Office and Visio save vector graphics this way to reduce their size. Windows Media Player skins also use the .wmz extension, but those are ZIP archives and are a different format.
