- Description
- VAG (Vorbis Audio... actually PlayStation Audio) is an audio file format developed by Sony for use in PlayStation game consoles. It stores compressed audio data using Sony's proprietary ADPCM compression algorithm, optimized for game sound effects and music. The format is commonly used in PlayStation and PlayStation 2 game development.
- An OPUS file is an audio file created in the Opus format (also called "Ogg Opus"), a lossy audio format developed for Internet streaming. It uses both SILK (used by Skype) and CELT (from Xiph.Org) codecs and supports variable bit rates from 6 kb/s to 510 kb/s.
