- Description
- The UPI file format is associated with Ulead PhotoImpact, an image editing software developed by Ulead Systems. It serves as a project file that contains various elements of a photo editing project, including images, text, and effects. This file format allows users to save their work in progress and return to it later, maintaining the ability to edit individual elements without starting from scratch. UPI files are proprietary to the PhotoImpact software, which was widely used for digital photo editing, graphic design, and web page creation before being acquired by Corel.
- It is an icon image file used to show application icons in the macOS Finder and macOS dock. It contains one or several .PNG images and it supports 1bit and 8-bit alpha channels.
