- Timed Text Markup Language (TTML) is an XML-based subtitle and caption format standardised by the W3C. It stores the text of each caption together with its timing, position and styling, and is used for broadcast, streaming and online video.
- AQTitle is a plain-text subtitle format. Each caption starts with a -->> marker giving its start frame, and lasts until the next marker.
