- Description
- THP is a video file format developed by Nintendo for use in GameCube and Wii games. It stores compressed video and audio data optimized for streaming from optical discs on Nintendo's consoles. The format is commonly used for cutscenes, intros, and other full-motion video sequences in first-party and licensed titles.
- An MKV file is a video container format similar to the .AVI, .ASF, and .MOV formats. It supports several types of audio and video codecs and may include .SRT, .SSA, or .USF (Universal Subtitle Format) subtitles. MKV files also support VobSub subtitles from DVDs.
