- Description
- Smacker Video (.smk) is a video file format developed for use in video games, designed to deliver synchronized audio and video with efficient compression on low-end hardware. It was especially popular in the 1990s and early 2000s for cutscenes and in-game full-motion video. The format supports multiple audio tracks and palette-based video compression optimized for CPU playback without dedicated hardware acceleration.
- MediaWiki Markup is a lightweight markup language used to format text and create pages on wikis running the MediaWiki software, such as Wikipedia. It supports features like headings, links, tables, templates, and lists using simple text-based syntax. Files with the .wiki extension typically store this wikitext source content.
