- A Symbolic Link File (SLK) is a file type used for creating links between files on a computer or network. It is a type of shortcut that allows users to access another file or folder without having to type out the full path. It is similar to an alias in macOS or a symbolic link in Linux and Unix systems.
- DIF stands for Data Interchange Format that is used to import/export spreadsheets data between different applications. These include Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice Calc, StarCalc and many others. It stores data contained in a single spreadsheet which is the only limitation of this file format.
