Description
The SCX file format is associated with ColoRIX, an early raster image editing program developed for use on IBM PC compatible computers. SCX files contain bitmap images created, edited, or saved within the ColoRIX software. This format was primarily used during the late 1980s and early 1990s and supported by the DOS operating system. Based on HEVC (High-Efficiency Video Coding), the HEIF format is an image file container with one or multiple images and is the default image format for Apple Live Photos. It replaced the JPEG format as it's smaller in size and has lossless compression ensuring high-quality photos.
