- Description
- The QDV file format is associated with Random Dot Software, a specialized type of application used for generating and displaying random dot patterns. These patterns are often used in psychological or vision research to study visual perception, depth perception, and motion detection without the influence of recognizable shapes or patterns. QDV files contain the data and parameters for creating these random dot visuals, including density, distribution, and color of the dots. This format enables researchers to consistently reproduce visual stimuli across different experiments and studies.
