Let your AI agent convert PVF to RA
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents can do this with Filestar. This skill runs in Filestar's cloud and needs a paid Filestar plan.
Install Filestar and add it to your agents:
npm install -g filestar
filestarcli agent install
Then ask your agent:
“Convert the PVF files in my Downloads folder to RA”
Or run it yourself:
filestarcli -i file.pvf -c "convert to ra"
Runs in Filestar's cloud and needs a Filestar plan.
Can my AI agent convert PVF to RA?
Yes, with a paid Filestar plan: this skill runs in Filestar's cloud. Install the Filestar CLI with npm install -g filestar and your agent can run filestarcli -i file.pvf -c "convert to ra".
The Portable Voice Format (PVF) is a digital audio file format primarily used for storing voice recordings. PVF files are designed to encapsulate voice data at various bit rates, making them suitable for applications where voice clarity and file size are critical, such as voicemail systems, interactive voice response systems, and other telephony applications. Unlike more common audio formats that aim for high fidelity and music playback, PVF focuses on the efficient encoding of speech, optimizing for intelligibility and compact file size.
RealPlayer created RA for audio streaming. It makes use of various audio codecs from those that deliver high-fidelity sounds to those that record low bitrate audio data. Radio stations mainly used it for online streaming, but current formats have overthrown it.
