- Description
- PSP file format is associated with PaintShop Pro, an image editing software developed by Corel. It is a proprietary format used for storing raster graphics created and manipulated within PaintShop Pro. PSP files support layers, channels, and various other advanced graphics elements, allowing for detailed and complex image editing. This format is primarily used for saving intermediate edits, enabling users to continue working on their projects with all elements intact.
- The PC2 file type is associated with Degas & Degas Elite, graphics editing programs that were popular on the Atari ST computers during the 1980s. These files contain image data created and saved using the Degas software, which was renowned for its versatility in creating detailed digital art and animations. PC2 files specifically store pictures in a compressed format, allowing artists to manage and store their creations more efficiently without significant loss of detail. Despite the age of the software, PC2 files can still be of interest to retro computing enthusiasts and digital art historians exploring the development of early computer graphics.
