- Description
- PSP file format is associated with PaintShop Pro, an image editing software developed by Corel. It is a proprietary format used for storing raster graphics created and manipulated within PaintShop Pro. PSP files support layers, channels, and various other advanced graphics elements, allowing for detailed and complex image editing. This format is primarily used for saving intermediate edits, enabling users to continue working on their projects with all elements intact.
- The ICN file format is associated with RIPTerm Image, which is a specific type of graphic file. It was primarily used in conjunction with RIPTerm, a software application designed for accessing Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) in a graphical manner, popular before the widespread adoption of the internet. ICN files contain images or icons that were used within the RIPTerm interface to enhance the user experience by providing a visually rich environment. These files are a part of the legacy computing era and are not commonly used in modern computing environments.
