- The PSF file format, standing for PhotoStudio File, is a proprietary image format developed by ArcSoft for use with their PhotoStudio image editing software. It is designed to save an image's data along with any layers, effects, or other editing details that have been applied, allowing users to save their work in progress and return to edit it further at a later time.
