Description: The PNM (Portable Any Map Image) file format is a subset of the broader Netpbm format, designed for storing various types of digital images. It acts as an umbrella term for three specific types of grayscale, color, and black-and-white images, represented by PBM (Portable Bitmap), PGM (Portable Graymap), and PPM (Portable Pixmap) formats respectively. PNM files are known for their simplicity and ease of conversion to other image formats.; A JPEG XL file is an image saved in a compressed graphic format currently under development by the Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG). It supports wide color gamut and HDR (High Dynamic Range), alpha channels and animation frames while providing visually lossless compression. Images can be converted back and forth between JPEG XL and JPEG without loss of quality. Converting a regular JPEG to JPEG XL reduces the file size by 22%.
