- The PMG file format is associated with Paint Magic, a now-obsolete graphics software that was used for creating and editing bitmap images. This format was specifically designed to store digital artwork and graphic designs made within the Paint Magic program. PMG files contain image data that can include various elements such as layers, color palettes, and graphic effects unique to the Paint Magic software.
