- PCD (Point Cloud Data) is the native file format used by the Point Cloud Library (PCL) to store 2D and 3D point cloud data, including coordinates, color, normals, and other point attributes. It supports both ASCII and binary encoding and is widely used in robotics, computer vision, and 3D scanning applications for processing and exchanging point cloud datasets.
