Let your AI agent convert PARQUET to SQLITE
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents can do this on your computer with Filestar. Your files stay on your machine.
Install Filestar and add it to your agents:
npm install -g filestar
filestarcli agent install
Then ask your agent:
“Convert the PARQUET files in my Downloads folder to SQLITE”
Or run it yourself:
filestarcli -i file.parquet -c "convert to sqlite"
Runs on your computer, so your files stay on it. Works on Windows, macOS and Linux. 50 free conversions with the npm install, no account needed.
Can my AI agent convert PARQUET to SQLITE?
Yes. Install the Filestar CLI with npm install -g filestar and your agent can run filestarcli -i file.parquet -c "convert to sqlite" on your computer, so your files stay on it.
A Parquet file is a columnar data table: each column is stored on its own, compressed and typed, so analytics tools can read only the columns they need. It is the common exchange format of data lakes, Spark, pandas and DuckDB.
A SQLite database is a whole relational database in one file: tables, indexes and views, read and written by the SQLite library that apps, browsers and phones embed.
