Let your AI agent convert MTS to TXW
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents can do this with Filestar. This skill runs in Filestar's cloud and needs a paid Filestar plan.
Install Filestar and add it to your agents:
npm install -g filestar
filestarcli agent install
Then ask your agent:
“Convert the MTS files in my Downloads folder to TXW”
Or run it yourself:
filestarcli -i file.mts -c "convert to txw"
Runs in Filestar's cloud and needs a Filestar plan.
Can my AI agent convert MTS to TXW?
Yes, with a paid Filestar plan: this skill runs in Filestar's cloud. Install the Filestar CLI with npm install -g filestar and your agent can run filestarcli -i file.mts -c "convert to txw".
An MTS file is a video saved in the Advanced Video Coding High Definition (AVCHD) format. It is the standard video format used by many Sony and Panasonic HD camcorders. It is also used for storing high definition video on Blu-ray discs.
The TXW file format is associated with the Yamaha TX16W, a digital sampling keyboard produced in the late 1980s. These TXW files contain audio data that is specifically formatted for use with the TX16W sampler. Essentially, a TXW file stores a sample or a collection of samples, including their associated parameters such as loop points, velocity layers, and other settings that are necessary for the sampler to correctly playback the sounds. The format is proprietary to Yamaha.
