- Description
- MSLZ is an archive file format developed by Microsoft. It is a compressed version of the LZX compression algorithm which is used to reduce the size of files and folders. The files can be opened with the MSLZ Viewer, a free utility that is included with Microsoft Office.
- A ZIP file is an archive that contains one or more files compressed or "zipped" using Zip compression. It stores files separately from each other allowing the files to be compressed using different methods and extracted without compressing or decompressing the entire archive.
