- Description
- The mbm file type is associated with the Psion Series 5, a range of personal digital assistants (PDAs) developed in the mid-1990s. MBM files are specifically used to store bitmap images on these devices. These images could be used for various purposes, including as part of applications, for the device's interface, or for user content such as photos or graphics. The format is tailored for the limited processing and display capabilities of PDAs from that era.
- An MD file is a text file created using one of several possible dialects of the Markdown language. It is saved in plain text format but includes inline text symbols that define how to format the text (e.g., bold, indentations, headers, table formatting). MD files are designed for authoring plain text documentation that can be easily converted to HTML.
