LUT (Lut Color Lookup Table) is a file type used to store color transformation data. It is commonly used in digital image processing and video post-production to achieve a certain look. LUT files can be used to apply color correction, color grading and other image processing techniques.
A CLF file is a colour transform in the Academy/ASC Common LUT Format (SMPTE ST 2136-10): XML that chains 1D and 3D lookup tables, matrices, ranges and ASC CDL steps. ACES and OpenColorIO pipelines use it.
