Description
The HPI file format, standing for Hemera Photo Image, is associated with images created or used by Hemera Photo-Objects software. This software was popular for offering high-quality, royalty-free images spanning various subjects, ideal for use in presentations, documents, and web design. HPI files specifically contain bitmap images that have been optimized for easy integration without the need for advanced graphic editing skills. Despite its previous popularity, the Hemera Photo-Objects software and its proprietary HPI format have seen a decline in use, superseded by more modern image formats and libraries.
An MD file is a text file created using one of several possible dialects of the Markdown language. It is saved in plain text format but includes inline text symbols that define how to format the text (e.g., bold, indentations, headers, table formatting). MD files are designed for authoring plain text documentation that can be easily converted to HTML.
