- Description
- The FMF file type, associated with Fax Man, is a specialized format used primarily for storing fax documents. Fax Man is a software application designed for sending, receiving, and managing fax communications directly from a computer using a modem or through internet fax services. FMF files contain all the necessary data for a fax document, including text, images, and formatting, ensuring accurate reproduction when sent or received. This file format is specifically tailored for use within the Fax Man software environment, facilitating efficient fax management and operations.
- Based on HEVC (High-Efficiency Video Coding), the HEIF format is an image file container with one or multiple images and is the default image format for Apple Live Photos. It replaced the JPEG format as it's smaller in size and has lossless compression ensuring high-quality photos.
