Description
FTS file format is used to edit, store and transmit images with metadata (data with spatial and photometric calibrations) for scientific purposes. Most times it stores the data without the actual associated images.
Image file saved in the Macintosh PICT format; may contain both vector and bitmap data and can use thousands of colors; also supports RLE (Run-length encoding) and JPEG compression to reduce the file size.
