- Description
- This format was created to store images in RAW format that were created using Epson digital cameras. The image is stored in an uncompressed form, and it can be directly printed on Epson printers. This format can be edited using the Epson PhotoRAW software or using plug-ins in other image editors.
- Group 4 (G4) used for black and white lossless compression to maintain high-quality images, commonly used in TIFF format compression by fax machines. A picture is seen as black dots and lines on a blank page; the fewer the dots and lines are, the lesser the file size.
