Native format of the Krita painting program, developed by the Krita Foundation.
Description
The EPA file type is associated with the Award BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) used in many computers. It specifically refers to the format for BIOS logo images that are displayed during the computer's boot-up sequence. These logo images, often customized by PC manufacturers or users to display a brand or personal image, are stored as .epa files. The EPA format is designed to be compatible with the Award BIOS environment, allowing for a personalized touch to the boot-up process.
Image file saved by the Krita painting program. A Krita file is a zip archive holding the full layer stack: each layer's pixel data as compressed tiles, its name, position, opacity, blending mode and visibility, plus a merged preview of the whole image.
