The cs1 file type is a raw image format used by Sinar CaptureShop, a high-end scanning software package. The cs1 files contain uncompressed image data that has been scanned and stored in a proprietary format. These files can be imported into various photo editing software packages for further editing and manipulation.
It is an image compression codec file with the same quality as .jpeg, but that is ten smaller. It supports HDR (High Dynamic Range). SDR (Standard Dynamic Range), and WCG (Wide Color Gamut) images. Also, it contains both the image sequences and image items. The only pitfall is that a few applications support it.
