Can my AI agent convert Affymetrix CEL to JSONL?
Yes. Install the Filestar CLI with npm install -g filestar and your agent can run filestarcli -i file.cel -c "convert to jsonl" on your computer, so your files stay on it.
An Affymetrix CEL file holds the probe intensities of one GeneChip microarray scan: for every probe cell its x and y position, intensity, standard deviation and pixel count, as the v4 binary GCOS format or the older v3 text format. The data behind gene-expression analyses; GEO distributes these files, usually gzipped.
A JSON Lines file holds one JSON value per line, usually one record per line, so it can be written and read as a stream. Logs, data exports and machine learning datasets use it.
