- Description
- The ce2 file type is associated with ComputerEyes Raw, a format used for storing raw image data captured with the ComputerEyes video frame capture system. This format is primarily designed to save unprocessed images directly from the device, allowing for greater flexibility in post-capture editing and analysis. The ce2 files contain raw pixel data without any compression or color processing, making them ideal for users requiring the highest possible fidelity and detail for their imaging projects. However, due to their raw nature, ce2 files typically require specialized software to open and edit.
- Based on HEVC (High-Efficiency Video Coding), the HEIF format is an image file container with one or multiple images and is the default image format for Apple Live Photos. It replaced the JPEG format as it's smaller in size and has lossless compression ensuring high-quality photos.
