- Description
- The CDU file type is associated with CDU Paint, a specialized image file format used by the CDU Paint software. This format is designed to store graphical data, such as digital paintings or drawings, created within the CDU Paint application. CDU files encapsulate both the image information and any specific properties related to the CDU Paint program, such as layers, effects, and brush strokes. This format allows artists to save their work in a way that preserves the integrity and editability of the original digital artwork.
- Based on HEVC (High-Efficiency Video Coding), the HEIF format is an image file container with one or multiple images and is the default image format for Apple Live Photos. It replaced the JPEG format as it's smaller in size and has lossless compression ensuring high-quality photos.
