- Description
- A Windows shortcut to a track on an audio CD: 44 bytes that say which track it is and where it sits on the disc, with no audio in it. Windows shows one per track (Track01.cda) when an audio CD is in the drive; converting it means reading that track from the CD.
- Digital audio format based on Apple's Core Audio technology; stores audio data as well as text annotations, markers, channel layouts, and other information; similar to an .AIFF or .WAVE file, but does not have a 4GB size limit and can store any number of audio channels.
