- Description
- The Bink Video File (BIK) is a proprietary video file format developed by RAD Game Tools. It is commonly used in video games to store and play back game cinematics, cutscenes, or other in-game video sequences. Bink Video is designed to be highly optimized for performance, offering good quality video playback while minimizing CPU and memory usage, making it particularly suitable for use in video games where resources are often limited.
- VIPS is a libvips file format mainly used for calculations, but it can also store images. The main advantage is that it has no size limit; it's fast and straightforward. Nonetheless, most applications can't view it, so converting it to a more popular format is the only way to work around it.
