- Description
- SubStation Alpha (ASS) is a text-based file format used for subtitle files. It is mostly used for anime, but can be used for any type of video. It is a plain-text format and can be opened with any text editor, such as Notepad. It allows for the creation of more complex subtitles than plain text, such as color-coding, formatting, and timing.
- SMI (Synchronized Accessible Media Interchange) is a file type associated with multimedia presentation files. It is used to store captions and subtitles for multimedia files as well as other data such as timing information, font information, and language information. It is commonly used for videos, DVDs, and other multimedia content.
