Description
An Arrow IPC file holds a data table in Apache Arrow's in-memory columnar layout, so it can be memory-mapped and read without conversion. Feather version 2 files are the same format.
A DTA file is a Stata dataset: a data table with variable names, types, display formats, variable labels and value labels, written by the Stata statistics package. The same extension is also used by Zeiss BIVAS for its image files.
