- Developed in 1980 by the Acorn Draw Program, aff format is meant for vector image visualization. It mainly stores publishing information such as brochures, flyers, logotypes, etc. because of it's high-quality images when printing.
- JBIG is a lossless compression file format that was created for the fax machine; it can be used by other image file formats. The files created by JBIG format are smaller compared to G3 and G4 file formats.
