- Developed in 1980 by the Acorn Draw Program, aff format is meant for vector image visualization. It mainly stores publishing information such as brochures, flyers, logotypes, etc. because of it's high-quality images when printing.
- FTS file format is used to edit, store and transmit images with metadata (data with spatial and photometric calibrations) for scientific purposes. Most times it stores the data without the actual associated images.
