- Description
- The SC2 file type is associated with the MSX 2, an early home computer system released in the 1980s. SC2 files specifically represent screen files used for graphics and images on the MSX 2 platform. These files contain pixel data for displaying images or graphics within the MSX 2's screen mode 2, which offers a specific resolution and color palette. They were commonly used in the development of video games, applications, and other multimedia content for the MSX 2 system.
- Based on HEVC (High-Efficiency Video Coding), the HEIF format is an image file container with one or multiple images and is the default image format for Apple Live Photos. It replaced the JPEG format as it's smaller in size and has lossless compression ensuring high-quality photos.
