  1. Download and install the latest version of Filestar.

  2. Right click on one or more Mit file(s) on your desktop and select Convert with Filestar.

  3. Type convert to pam in the search box.

Description
MIT is a proprietary file format used for embroidery designs and sewing machine control software. It is used primarily by Mitsubishi sewing machines, and certain other brands that are compatible with the MIT format. It contains information about the thread colors, number of stitches, and other data that is necessary to create an embroidered design.
The PAM image format is a lowest common denominator 2 dimensional map format. It is designed to be used for any of myriad kinds of graphics, but can theoretically be used for any kind of data that is arranged as a two dimensional rectangular array.
