- Gold Thread Embroidery Format (GT) is a vector graphic file type that is designed specifically for use in computerized embroidery machines. The format is composed of a set of commands that are interpreted by the machine to produce a finished embroidery design. - A PGM file is a grayscale image file saved in the portable gray map (PGM) format and encoded with one or two bytes (8 or 16 bits) per pixel.
