The Fortron Embroidery Format (fxy) is a proprietary file format primarily used for the design of embroidery patterns. It stores information regarding the type of embroidery, colors, sizes, and stitch types used in the design. It is used by Fortron Embroidery Software and other compatible programs.
Created by Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), SIXEL is a bitmap image format in an escaped sequence (seen as six pixels high and one pixel wide). You have to convert it into a more accessible format if you don’t have a DEC terminal to view it.
