- A dsx file is a type of embroidery data file used by Orchida, a commercial embroidery design software developed by Wilcom. It stores a vector-based design created in the software, which can then be used to produce embroidery patterns on a compatible machine.

Also, it contains both the image sequences and image items. The only pitfall is that a few applications support it.
