- A Gerber RS-274X file is a PCB manufacturing layer exported by electronic design tools (Cadence Allegro and others) under the .art extension: an ASCII list of aperture definitions and draw, move and flash commands that describes one copper, soldermask or silkscreen layer of a printed circuit board. Filestar draws the layer to SVG at the board's real size, and from there to PDF, PNG and the other vector targets.
