Photo CD est un système conçu par Kodak pour numériser et enregistrer des photos sur un CD. Lancés en 1991, ces disques étaient conçus pour contenir près de 100 images de haute qualité, issues de la numérisation de tirages et de diapositives à l’aide d’un encodage propriétaire spécial.
Créé par Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), SIXEL est un format d’image matricielle encodé dans une séquence d’échappement (représentant six pixels de haut sur un pixel de large). Vous devez le convertir dans un format plus accessible si vous ne disposez pas d’un terminal DEC pour l’afficher.
