- Un fichier DCM est un fichier image enregistré au format Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM). Il contient une image médicale, comme un scanner ou une échographie. Les fichiers DCM peuvent également inclure des informations sur le patient afin d’associer l’image à celui-ci.
- Format de fichier image apparenté au format .PNG, mais utilisant une compression avec perte comme les fichiers .JPG standard ; développé comme sous-format pour les objets .MNG, il peut aussi être utilisé comme format d’image matricielle autonome.
